Fit and Frugal

Since I've been couponing, I've discovered that you can get a TON of food for free. Lately though, I've come to the conclusion that not all free food is good food. With increasing numbers of obese children, diabetes and other serious weight related health issues, I've taken a deeper look at the items in our pantry.

While keeping our grocery bill low, I elect to start working toward a healthier pantry and refrigerator. This means removing items with high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated oil and high levels of sugar. It'll be a slow process, but I think I can retain my frugal lifestyle and keep my family fit!
